My daughters having been going “gaga” over Lady GaGa! I don’t know how many times I’ve heard Poker Face and Boys Boys Boys sung in our house! But WTF was the pop singer thinking wearing shoes, not just any shoes on her feet, but shoes used as decorations on her leather jacket!? Photo Source

I’m back from Viva Las Vegas – great trip! One of the highlights of my trip was getting a tour of the Zappos.com headquarters, and all I can say is WOW! To deliver WOW through service is one of Zappos’ Ten Core Values.
I was amazed at the excitement of the employees, and the fun work environment, from the complimentary cafeteria lunches to the napping room. It looks like an awesome place to work! Tony, the CEO, was out of the office, but his desk is among the rest of the employee’s cubicles.
At the end of the tour, everyone received a complimentary bookbag and book of their choice from a collection of books that Tony personally recommends. I picked out Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap… and Others Don’t by Jim Collins. I can’t wait to read it!
