Red Hot Shoes for Fall

Posted by kim on August 25, 2009

Today marks the 70th anniversary of “The Wizard of Oz”* where Judy Garland as Dorothy wore the infamous ruby red slippers. The New York Post wrote an article on how to follow Dorothy’s lead in a pair of “Red-Hot Shoes for Fall” (thanks for the link, Wayne).

Crimson is the perfect accent to autumn’s peacock-hued palette, but if black-and-white is more your thing, these red treads are a great pop of color against fall’s perennially stylish neutrals. ~ Rebecca Daly

Bebe Sport Coax Sandals

Bebe Sport Coax SKU #7567671

Wayne emailed me these Bebe Sport Coax Sandals, available from Zappos.com, $50. I personally wouldn’t wear them (remember I have a phobia of “things between my toes”), but I thought they looked like something Squeak would wear as she doesn’t mind the thong strap, she likes medium sized heels, and her favorite color is RED! They are available in black as well.  What do you think?

Deals on Designer Shoes

Posted by squeak on March 5, 2009

This morning when I was adding for coupons on ShoppingBookmarks.com, I came across a site called DesignerShoes.com. They have some really good shoes, and there are currently lots of coupons for Designer Shoes that offer %’s off and free shipping. They also promote, but are not isolated to Larger & Wider Sizes. The two styles that I have picked out are the Samanta Zon red dress sandals for me and the Sofft Laurel black casual mules for Kim.
