You always hear the myth not to wear white shoes (or pants) after Labor Day. But my theory is as long it’s hot outside, white is okay! In fact, my cousin is getting married in the park this coming Saturday, and I think these Vintage Laundry Twins Sandals (available from ChineseLaundry.com, $69) would look perfect with the pink and white taffeta dress that I plan to wear. (The last time I wore that dress with my Skechers Sandals.)

Happy Labor Day!  Even though I’m still sitting at my computer today and working per se, I love writing blogs and sharing my shopping finds that I can’t really consider this a “job“.

The above pic is of me was taken on Saturday wearing my new Wedge Gladiator Sandals from Wet Seal. I like them as they are both fashionable and comfortable. I got quite a few compliments and a few “those look like Jesus sandals” comments from obviously non-fashion friends.  And I had to wear red, as it was the Huskers first football game of the season!
