High Heel-A-Thon

I can’t believe I didn’t blog about this sooner, probably because I’m an avid Today Show watcher, sorry Regis and Kelly.

More than 500 participants (including eleven men) joined together at New York’s Central Park back in July for Kelly Ripa’s 1st Annual High Heel-A-Thon, a charity race that benefited the March of Dimes. The winner of the 150-yard high-heeled race won $25,000!

The NY Post reported that Ripa wore Yves Saint Laurent heels to run in.  I found a sparkingly similar YSL knock-offs with these Aerosoles Ginger peep toe pumps available in black &/or brown patent. Not only are Aerosoles less expensive ($70 from Zappos.com), I’m guessing they are more comfortable as well.
