Lauren Conrad was spotted recently wearing Candela navy suede Flecos fringe thong sandals (also available in red suede and black suede), on sale for $147 (regularly $245) from BlueFly.com. Flirty and fun, these sandals are versatile enough to wear with shorts and tank, like seen on Lauren above, or even with a summer dress.

Michelle Obama is receiving much criticism from the press for wearing expensive Lanvin Leather Sneakers (which retail for $630, but are on sale for $504 at BlueFly.com) while volunteering at a Washington D.C. food bank last week. Michelle was previously praised for her affordable fashion sense. I do think Michelle is wearing a J.Crew sweater if that’s any consolation.
Michelle’s haute sneakers, designed by the Paris house of Lanvin in France, are one of the most sought after (and most expensive) currently in the world. These sneakers are made of suede, with grosgrain ribbon laces and metallic pink toe caps, and have been a hot seller all spring.
Purple seems to be a favorite color among Mrs. Obama, so I think these Jump Crew W Sneakers, only $69.95 from ShoeMall.com, would have been a more practical choice.

Eliza Dushku wore Prada slate suede petal peep toe pumps (regularly $650, on sale for $520 at Bluefly.com) to the GQ Men of the Year Party held at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles on November 18th, 2008.
