Well, I’ve got say there is a bit of difference in quality. I don’t have those particular boots, but I do own two pairs of Fiorentini + Baker boots, and the workmanship and leather is staggering. I’ll have them forever because of how beautifully made they are. I know they’re expensive, but, in this case, I honestly think you get what you pay for, so if you can afford it…

By the way, I bought my F+B boots at Ped Shoes (http://www.pedshoes.com), which I prefer to Barney’s because of the personal customer service. The owner, Dayna, often answers the phone herself and is really great about advising on fit and colors, etc. She’s saved me from making a mistake more than once.
