Shoe Review: Ugglebo Swedish Clogs

Shoeaholics Anonymous Disclosure

Ugglebo is one of the oldest clog companies in the world, and they still hand make all their Swedish clogs in their Swedish factory, as they have since 1965. As you all know I have a huge love of clogs, so I was more than happy to accept a pair of Ugglebo clogs to review!

I chose the Sangrens Tilda Comfort Clogs, and since their creative marketing manager said that style can be a bit narrow, they recommended going up a shoe size. So I first tried a size 39 (European size), but I felt that they were way too big for my size 7.5 (US size) feet. So then I tried out a size 38 (which is the normal size I wear in European styles).

I absolutely love the look and style of these, everything from the buckle vamp to the heel height.   But unfortunately, they just don’t fit my feet.   The size 38 was indeed too tight on my toes and my heel slipped out the back when I walked.   I may see if I stretch out the toe part, and then try thick socks or a heel pad to see if that helps, as these are really a “Kim shoe” and would make a great addition to my shoe collection. Don’t you agree that they look great with casual jeans?
