The new Teva Mush was cast as the “must-have travel shoe this summer” as they are “quick, cute and supercomfy”! Inspired by Teva’s best-selling Mush flip flops, the Teva Mush comes in both a sporty mary jane style as well as a ballerina flat style in an array of fun colors.
I had the opportunity to test-drive a pair of Mush Frio Ballerina Mesh in Black that I’ve been wearing non-stop since I received them yesterday…
I received a size 8 as they only come in whole sizes (I wear a 7.5) and there is a tad extra toe room, but they fit snug enough that my heel doesn’t slip out for being a half size too big. They are super-duper comfortable! And light-weight (3.4 ounces to be exact).
My only complaint (beside not being available in half-sizes, and this is minor detail to most) is that you can see a bit a toe cleavage by my pinky toe. I’m not a fan of toe cleavage (on myself anyway). My BF suggested maybe my feet are deformed (I did diagnose myself with a Tailor’s Bunionette last year after all)!
All in all, I’d definitely recommend these for people like me that hate flip-flops, but want some quick slip-on alternative to slides. And if you’re in need of pedicure, no one will be the wiser.
I’m anxious to see how they hold up, as I wore them all day yesterday and wore some of the trend off already, plus the bright yellow stripe on the sole is no longer bright (no biggie to me). Even if they do wear out, I think I’d invest in a new pair as they are affordable and available from Eastern Mountain Sports.
