Shoe Review: Report Kline Ankle Boot

Shoeaholics Anonymous Disclosure

DNA Footwear sent me these Report Kline Mid Heel Booties in Black to review, and I love them! The chunky 2 3/4″ heel is a perfect height for me, and the tumbled leather upper with strap detail and fold-over design give them a unique look.

I was skeptical as first as they are pull-on (no zippers or buckles) and definitely not a “slip-on” shoe.   When I first put them on, I thought they were a tad tight around my midfoot, but I’m wondering if maybe as I’m getting older that my feet are just getting wider as I’ve noticed that in several styles as of lately?

Once I had them on (they definitely won’t fall off!), they stretched out and fit fine!   I wore them with wide legged jeans and got a lot of compliments. Plus I thought they made my feet look tiny.   Next time, I plan to unfold the cuff and pair them with black tights and a skirt.

Now that Spring has finally arrived, I checked out DNA Footwear’s new arrivals for Spring.   The selection of women’s heeled sandals is superb, with quite a few celebrity brand names. For instance, what do you think of these?

Betsey Johnson Alexandra High Heel Evening Shoes (shown above in Nude) were recently featured in Life and Style Magazine. 4 1/2″ wrapped heel with 3/4″ platform and mesh upper with patent heel cup at vamp.
