Shoe Review: Reef Ginger Sandals

Shoeaholics Anonymous Disclosure

Most of you know my stance on flip-flops. I’ve been known to say I hate them. Well, hate is a strong word (my daughter’s new saying), and I have to agree. Last summer I started to tolerate wearing “toady parts” because, well, all the cool kids seem to wear flip flops.   And I admit they looked good on me, hehe.

Now that winter is among most of us, my open-toed shoes and sandals have made their way to the back of my closet.   But come next summer, I may (just may) invest in a pair of these Reef Ginger Sandals (the Black/Purple style/color/design is shown above) after reading all the five star reviews over on Amazon.

Here’s what Marcia from Florida had to say about them:

I have been wearing reef sandals for several years now. They are the most comfortable flip-flops I’ve ever worn. I stand on my feet for 8+ hours a day and when I wear these sandals, my feet don’t hurt. I’ve had several pairs of these reef flip flops and I’ve never had a pair break–I just wear them out from wearing them so much!

Reef Ginger Sandals are available in several color combinations and available from Amazon and other online reef sandals stores.

  1. Flip flops are great to wear for hours a day right up until you get painful heel spurs which a podiatrist told me was directly related to wearing totally flat shoes like flip flops. The tendon at the bottom of your foot needs to be stretched which a slight heel does. Enjoy your flip flops but switch out with plenty of heel time!

  2. Great comment Heather. I’m not a fan of flip-flops at all. I find them very uncomfortable and just plain ugly. Living in a cold weather climate I feel like screaming every time a see a girl running around in the snow all bundled up on top and flip flops on her feet. Yuck!
