Earthies Women's Ensenada T-Strap Sandal

I recently had the opportunity to review these Earthies Ensenada T-Strap Sandals in Almond from the Earthies Spring/Summer 2012 Catalog (and available from

I think are cute enough to wear as casual sandals (as you see me wearing with jeans), but I can also see myself wearing these with a long broom skirt to church. The contoured footbed that cradled my feet was definitely comfortable, but I thought the vamp was a tad tight, but I also blame that on me getting older and my feet/bones starting to become deformed. The vamp is premium leather with allover ornate cutouts with a breathable leather lining meant to wick away moisture, so maybe the vamp will stretch a bit as a I wear them more?

Otherwise the heel height (3″ with 1″ semi-hidden platform) is perfect for me (and my style), and I like the “fake wedge” as I always feel like I’m going to fall over wearing stiletto heels. My mom (with all her feet problems) would definitely love these shoes (if her feet weren’t a couple sizes bigger than mine, I’d consider gifting them to her) as she is always looking for stylish, yet comfortable sandals to wear to work (and I think these are her style).

What do you think of these Earthies Ensenada Sandals?
