Elongate Your Legs with Nude Pumps

Shoeaholics Anonymous Disclosure

Tyra Banks was a special guest on the The Nate Berkus Show yesterday. Hey, what ever happened to Tyra’s own network show? Anyway, Tyra is already a tall woman (according to IMDB, she is 5′ 10″) and still wears stiletto high heels. And her boobs are real. I remember watching that episode where she had a doctor examine her to prove that they were really indeed real and not silicone or saline. Okay, now I’m really babbling…

So, back to the show on topic: Tyra showed the audience how to “elongate your legs” aka “make you look taller” just by changing what  women pumps you’re wearing, if that’s the look you’re going for. She suggested wearing nude colored pumps with no straps. To demonstrate this effect, the spokes model actually wore leopard print pumps, similar to these Nine West Gwendle Leopard Pumps:

Walk on the wild side in the leopard print Gwendle. This stylish Nine West pump will compliment your favorite look with ease. Available from DSW.com, $69.95 (retail $89)

Now I wouldn’t classify leopard print anywhere near “nude” on the color wheel spectrum, but maybe that’s because I was originally an art major in college? I’m thinking those are tan with brown and black splotches.   When I hear “nude pumps with no straps”, I envision something like this G by GUESS Vanna Pump in Nude Patent:

The G by Guess Vianaa is the perfect platform pump. Classic in style with a little extra volume, this stunner goes a long way. Available from DSW.com, $44.95 (retail $59)
