When I logged into Facebook today (you are a Fan of Shoeaholics Anonymous, right?), I saw that Lulu’s just posted these Jeffrey Campbell K-Genius Khaki Belt Appeal Canvas Wedge Boots ($154 from LuLus.com). I honestly would never wear them, but there is something about them that obviously caught my eye and my attention enough to blog about them. Just not sure what!
We always knew that Jeffrey is a genius. Now we have a shoe to prove it. The Jeffrey Campbell K-Genius Khaki Belt Appeal Canvas Wedge Boots are so awesome you just have to have them. The slightly faded olive canvas upper is split, then divinely decorated with six, tan leather belts and large, antique looking, brass buckles. A 7″ zipper runs up the inside. I love the platform cork wedge look and the fact that they don’t have the “toady part” thing like flip-flops between my toes. But no, I’m stuck in the Midwest with huge piles of snow in my yard, and more snow is expected this week with more blizzards in the forecast!
The kids have missed so much school already due to snow days that they’ve begun to tack on extra days at the end of the school year. The kids are already wanting summer vacation to be here and think we need an above ground pool in our backyard.
