Who can resist looking at the Skymall catalog when traveling? Not that I travel a lot (but Kim and I are venturing to NYC later this week), but when I do it’s fun to look through the Skymall catalog. It’s fun to see all sorts of new gadgets and off the wall items that most people cannot afford to buy or do not need. Jim Kukral receives his fair share of banter for wearing white socks with his Mandals. He even wrote a song about them. Now I’m not opposed to white socks with brown shoes, but I am absolutely appalled to see anyone wear black socks with brown shoes (black socks with shoes of any other color than black is bad news). So when I saw Jim at a conference in Boston earlier this week wearing black socks with his mandals, I seriously thought I was going to vomit. Ok, maybe the cheap vodka had an effect on me as well. But after seeing that, I’m adding an addendum to my perfect guy specifications.
