Something I find relaxing is sitting down in the evening and flipping through catalogs. It can be clothing, for the home, gardening or whatever. Last night I got all snuggled in and was looking through the Victoria Secret catalog, and I just could not get over the shoes. Don’t get me wrong I shop at VS, and I have even bought shoes from there before. But I just could not get over the height of all the heels and platforms that are out.

I am so tired of snow. I thought my cute little lake house was perfect until the snow started. Over Christmas I was snowed in for almost five days, yes five. At the present time I am still snowed in and the drifts in my driveway are so big and so many that I am at the mercy of someone hauling me to and from work. But thank God, it’s better than being stuck there again. Anyway I have scooped a lot of snow and do not own snow boots. I’m thinking these Clarks Bold Crystal boots would be perfect. Could someone please explain to me the concept of an open toed boot? Maybe I’m old school, but I thought the point of boots were for winter wear and keeping your feet warm. So really how does this open toe Naughty Monkey benefit winter wear?
