Kim is Slinky Heels!

You’re an uptown, well put together woman
But you’re not too uptight to enjoy a hot club
You’re always the best dressed chick in the room
And you’ll only settle for the best in men

I bought these (r)elativity Charm black ankle boots at Herberger’s. My friend had gotten a pair last week, and I fell in love with them. So, when another friend and I went shopping on Monday, I just had to have them, especially since they were on sale. I wore them out on the town for New Year’s Eve!
I couldn’t find a link/pic of them online, so you get to see my actual pair above! I did find some similar styles online if you want to be as chic as me…

I had been eye’ing the Rialto Patch Stick Mules on Kohls.com (sold out now), but couldn’t justify spending $45 on another pair of brown mules (I think I have over a dozen pair now). So while in Denver last weekend (NU vs CU game sucked), I did my standard shoe shopping. I found these I-swear-exact-replicas made by White Mt. at Ross for only $14.99! Sold! Not sure I like them as well after wearing them as my pant legs covered the lightest brown, and the darkest brown is almost black looking. Oh well, I’m not out much. I couldn’t find them online for you, but I did find some other White Mt. Darius Patchwork Mules that I may have to invest in!

Looking for the perfect holiday gift for a shoe lover? I guarantee this 2008 Page-A-Day Gallery Shoe Calendar will fit the bill (shown above)! And it’s under $10 from Buy.com! My brother gave me one of these shoe calendars a couple of years ago that I proudly sat on desk all year round. When the year was over, I used the pictures to create two poster collages (shown below) that now hang in the sitting room of my new house. Hey bro, I think I know what you can get me for Christmas again this year…

I had a $10 off Famous Footwear Rewards certificate, so just had to check out what Famous Footwear had on sale. I wouldn’t want the coupon to expire unused. I found these Rocket Dog Women’s Joint Plaid Sneakers in Navy on sale for $20 minus my coupon = $10! Regularly $39.99!!
I thought my daughters would lay claim on them, but Macy informed me ”they don’t go with anything.” I disagree! In the last week, I’ve wore them with my Husker tshirt, my TheNerds.net tshirt, and my ShoppingBookmarks.com navy pullover (shown) and gotten no complaints.

Here is a pic of me in my closet that was taken during a photo shoot for a Revenue Magazine article. Unfortunately the art director thought other pics were more appropriate for the magazine, but I thought you dear readers may appreciate it.
I’ve already created new house plans in my head for House for Kim 2.0 that include a bigger (much, much bigger) walk-in closet and more shoe cubicles (you can’t see all the shoes lying on the floor that didn’t fit in the cubes).

In high school, I had canvas sneakers in every color from white to black and teal to red, to match all my outfits. And when I was in high school, my dream job was to produce TV commercials (which I never pursued), but I honestly like to watch commercials and critique them (especially the Super Bowl commercials). I really liked this new
ShoeBuy.com TV commercial (watch it above) - maybe it’s the creativity, or maybe it’s because I just really like shoes. I also like to shop at
ShoeBuy.com that carries over 400 brands and over 500,000 products with Free Shipping and Free Returns.
