Trisha Lyn knew I was regrettably unable to attend CJU in Santa Barbara this year, and she also knows how infatuated I am about shoes! So, she snapped this pic of Kerri Pollard’s shoes and twittered* it to me! Obviously Kerri knows what the “it” footwear for fall is - black lace-up shooties (shoe + bootie = shootie)!

Was at the mall last week, and can you believe I didn’t take advantage of Famous Footwear’s current BOGO offer? I even had a coupon to use. But I did make a haul at Payless. I got all of the above shoes that were marked down plus used my AAA card for another 10% off for under $20!

I have been wanting a pair of Mary-Jane Buckle brown mules ever since Squeak bought a black pair of the Aerosole Gift Snap shoes. Payless had a knock-off version for awhile, but I missed that boat. Then one of my friends wore a pair she had gotten from Target to my brother’s birthday party last week, and said they were really comfortable. I was doubtful of them since I love my Aerosole mules so much, but took her word for it. So when Squeak called me last week to say the Merona Abigail Buckle Mule was on clearance for $16 at Target, I was ecstatic. Until she told me she bought the last size 7.5 in Brown, but I could buy the Black. No, I wanted Brown! But she said they ran a tad small, and there was an 8 available, which fits me perfectly (pic above), so all is well! They are available online as well at Target.com & Amazon.com for only $16.

Payless is once again offering its BOGO Sale! (Buy One, Get One Half Off - hmmm, shouldn’t they call it BOGOHO?) This sale is offered both instore and online, including everything in the store, even sale and clearance items. I browse our local store, but I prefer to order online at Payless.com as they offer more selections and more sizes (including wide widths and plus sizes). Plus they offer free shipping with a $50 order and/or free instore shipping.
P.S. If you daughter needs ballet or tap shoes, this is best place and time to order them while on sale!
