I had this great idea that I was going to start walking over my lunch hour. Keep in mind I thought this was a good idea, but getting started seems to be the problem. First it was the weather, which is a good excuse as it has been raining everyday. My next excuse was I kept forgetting to bring walking shoes. My next idea was that I would buy another pair of shoes to keep at work. That idea went bad when my coupon for $10 off expired. When it comes right down to it, the truth is it appears I am making excuses, huh? So let’s go back to the idea of buying new shoes. These Nike Dart VI running shoes are the ones I had picked out to keep at the office. I always have good luck with NIKE, and I really like these. Normally I would pick something with red, but I like this perfect pink / metallic silver combo. I’m thinking if I order these and have them shipped to my office, I will be taking a step in the right direction. Wish me luck.

I was shopping at ShopKo last week, and just couldn’t resist these Nike Slides that were on sale for $14.99. They only come in full sizes, and since I’m a size 7 1/2, I first opted for the size 8, but that was too big/loose. The size 7 fits perfectly.
I’ve been wanting a new pair of athletic slides to replace my Adidas slides that I ruined while painting.
Now today I see these exact same Nike Benassi Women’s Slides are on sale for only $9.99 from Sports Authority! Regularly $18.99. Maybe I should invest in a 2nd pair! I highly recommend them as I wore them today and they are quite comfortable with and without socks. I’ll probably wear them without socks, but my daughter insists that it’s “in” to wear white socks with them.

Last weekend my 17 year old daughter and I went shopping, and she informed me I had not bought her any tennis shoes for school yet. I guess new golf shoes and 100 pair of flip flops don’t count. She chose this Anniversary Running shoe from Nike at Finish Line. Nike went all out to celebrate thier 25th Anniversary with Finish Line and created an exclusive collection like no other. I have always wanted a pair of Nike Shox. I wear a lot of red so I chose these Nike Shox Ride III shoes in red. These shoes also helped me to get a summer job. The sales person really liked my attitude and said they were hiring. I filled out the application and not even three days later, I had a new job selling shoes. So not only did these shoes help to get me a job, but they are also the most comfortable running shoes I have had. The only red Nike Shox III I’ve found online were on ebay. You can order orange directly from Nike.com and blue from Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Not only did my girls want new school shoes, but so did my son. He is a junior this year, surpassing my height and weight a couple years ago, and I think he is still growing! For his new shoes, we had to get a size 12. He picked out these Nike Men’s Air Circuit Tr shoes - bought them from my sister in her last week selling shoes at the mall before she goes away to college. Hope she got a good commission off the $85 I forked out for them. He says they are really comfortable and his arch supports fit in them nicely.

I was disappointed when I got an email that my red Puma shoes were out of stock in my size, so my order was cancelled. So, I was off to find some new red shoes. Good thing I like to shop as I found some red shoes I like even better! These Nike Shox Ride III Running Shoes are very comfortable (I’m wearing them right now), light-weight, have good arch support, and although they are colorful, they aren’t over-crazy and stick out.
