Last night I was cleaning my closet and was swapping out the summer shoes for winter shoes. Just for the fun of it, I decided to count how many pairs of shoes I had. Well, I came up with 71 and 1/2, yep 1/2. I seem to be missing one of my black boots. You know what that means - I need to buy another pair. I attended a Halloween Oktoberfest party and was quite camera happy (schnapps may have been involved).  Since brown mules seem to be my absolute favorite shoes, I asked two of the guests if I could take pics of their shoes. The pic on the left is of LifeStride brown mules and the pic on the right is of Tommy Hilfiger brown clogs (they went perfect with her German Beer Maiden Costume). I ran into Herberger’s quick for Clinique’s Bonus Days.  And I just had to browse through the shoes….

I came away with Life Stride’s Judith Slings in Black and Vanilla. Honestly, I’ll probably never wear them unless I have a wedding to attend this spring, but they were such a good deal that I couldn’t resist.  I’m sure my girls will have fun using them for dress-up.  But I do like the Italian Shoemaker fashion clog / mules I got and will wear them for sure.
