I had a nice time during my girls’ night out to attend the “Sex and the City” movie. I didn’t know what to expect with all the rumors blasting about (Mr. Big does not die), but I laughed and cried just like they said true SATC fans would. And the happy ending made it a perfect chick flick. I can’t see a sequel in the making, though. Of course, what I loved most about the movie, were Carrie Bradshaw’s shoes! What I disliked was that we could see the microphones at the top of the screen most of the time - I’m thinking our small town theatre didn’t black out the top like they should have? Anyway, here is a lowdown of some of the shoes Sarah Jessica Parker wore on the set…
Miss Meghan reported that these Manolo Blahnik blue sation heels were custom made for the Sex and the City movie! Update: These Manolo Blahnik Something Blue Satin Pumps are now available for $945.
Extreme Dior Gladiator Platforms, $770
Carrie wears these in several colors during the movie (ie black, brown, gold metallic). Makes you wonder if Dior paid for product placement (Patricia Field says no). 
But you can definitely tell Bag, Borrow or Steal (rented handbags) and Vitamin Water scored some air time.

Am watching the TODAY show this morning where Meredith Viera is giving a sneak peak of the new shoe department at Saks Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York City that plans to open to the public tomorrow. 10,000 square feet holding over 100,000 shoes! The department, which takes up the whole eighth floor, is so big that it has been granted its own ZIP code, 10022-SHOE!
So I ventured over to Saks.com to find a picture to share, and saw this promo…

I’m still wading knee-deep in “shoe stories”. Seems a lot of you (me included) would love to own a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes, but the pocketbook is holding us back…
I am obsessed with shoes!! I love boots, high heels, sneakers and flip flops. If I’m in a lazy mood, then I’ll just throw on some flip flops and be on my way. If I feel like catching some attention, I’ll slip into some high heels. My favorite shoe is Jimmy Choo High Heel Stilletos. I think shoes describe your mood. This obsession started way back when I was a little girl. I would spend hours in my mom’s closet trying on all her “fancy” shoes. But I’ve gotta be honest, this obsession is costing me a lot of money, so I had to take on a second job. But it’s okay because at least I’m fashionable! ~Kelly, NY

I am a shoeaholic. Right now, I have about 50 pairs of shoes, not to mention my flip flops! I have everything from dress heels to tennis shoes. Brand names such as Mudd, Lei, Timberland, Nike, New Balance, Old Navy, Adidas, Steve Maden, and Nine West…jsut to name a few. My 6 month old daughter has at least 20 pairs!!! Tennis shoes, boots, sandals!! I have about 20 different pairs of Flip flops in all colors of the rainbow, different styles and patterns. My fave to wear are my black nike flip flops.
