As popular as Doc Martins are, I just cannot convince myself to buy any. I’ve tried, really I have, it’s just that I think the chunky heel and sole make them too heavy for me. This Dr. Martens Club Ankle Boot is ”funky, chunky and fun”, still I just cannot find myself wearing them.

I bought these Dr Martens Twin Strap Mary Janes about a year ago, yes in black, for work. I work at a hospital as a professional. So I wanted something somewhat cute and comfortable and not too trendy. I picked these up for $70, which was a really good deal I thought. Since my hubby works in a business that does all the shipping for Doc Marten’s, twice a year, we get into their exclusive, invitation only warehouse sale, where there are literally THOUSANDS of Doc’s to choose from, filling a warehouse full of what seem to be bottomless bins…..all pairs (men’s, women’s, children’s-ANY style) are all only 30 dollars!!!! I got an incredible pair of red, leather mary-jane style Doc’s that I wear with anything, anywhere.
