Stressed by Tress Release Toe Thongs
A person can learn a lot of new terms and definitions when surfing the net. While on Shoebuy.com today, I found sandals with the keyword “Toe Thong”. Huh? That is a new one to me. These western flare Aerosoles Tress Release toe thong sandals have a trendy tooled printed leather. And as always the extra cushioned suede footbed makes them comfortable, even if they do say “thong”.

Hmmm am not sure about whether those would be comfortable, leather tends to be a bit too tight around my flat feet and my big toe is well.. big.

I’ve more often encountered the term “toe-loop” or “toe-ring” sandals, which is a little less confusing than “toe thong”–which, come to think of it, sounds pretty redundant. I have once such sandal from Donald J. Pliner, but it’s completely flat, and I have to say, surprisingly comfortable (though my big toe is also rather big). I’m not sure if the added heel height would put added stress on the toe in that loop–come to think of it, it probably will.
