AVIA A9997M Sensible Walking Shoes

Shoeaholics Anonymous Disclosure

As a guy, I am NOT the typical reader of this blog. I am married and I have four daughters, so I am no stranger to the decidedly female fascination with footwear of all kinds.  I am not a fashion plate, I’m a Hotdogman. I also do a lot of promotional work, when I am not running around to different hot dog joints and blogging about it. The simple fact is, I spend a lot of time on my feet.  But I usually don’t get too fired up about apparel of any kind, let alone shoes.

I also have a bursting L5 disk in my lower back and occasional left knee pain resulting from several past traumatic injuries. Oh, I have flat feet too. When I am on my feet for long periods of time, I start to get aches and pains.

At least I used to. One day, while doing some promotional sales in a major department store, I met a fellow who was demonstrating Avia footwear. He let me try on a pair of AVIA Men’s A9997M Walking Shoes. I wore them for about a half an hour and all my aches and pains vanished! I bought the shoes and have not worn anything else, other than slippers around the house, since.

These shoes, while they may not be the most stylish in the world, are the most comfortable thing I have ever put on my feet in my life. They’re designed and sold as a toning shoe- giving the wearer a mini workout by just walking around. Supposedly, the way the sole is designed, you can tone glutes, abs, and leg muscles by putting one foot in front of the other and moving around during the natural course of your day.

That’s all fine and good, but the benefit to a creaky guy like myself is the way these shoes naturally rock you into a perfect stand up posture. When I stand around in these shoes, my knee doesn’t ache, my back stays properly aligned and fluid, and my feet don’t get all worn out from absorbing shocks. The shoes are HEAVEN on my feet.

The first few weeks I wore these, I couldn’t stop talking about them. I was so pleased with how good I felt, I wanted to shout it to the world. Shoeaholics has given me that opportunity. If you spend a lot of time on your feet and you want a sensible shoe that will not have your dogs barking at the end of the day,  AVIA Walking Shoes should be on your feet. They won’t set you back too much either, most of their shoes are less than $80.00 and they come in Women’s Styles too.

So, if you want to feel comfortable when you’re on your feet for a long period of time, check out the Avia Shoes. Your body will be well rested when you slip on those pretty little pumps for a night out.
