Slinky, Sassy, Strappy or Sexy?

Looks to me as if the designer for this Cleopatra Sandal  from Touch Ups enjoyed playing with Slinkys as a kid. Note the sassy silver  ankle strap resembles the coil. The big difference would be the shoe is adorned with a vine of Rhinestones. Another thing the two have in common is that both could make you fall head over heel down the stairs. Slinky Shoes available from Shoebuy.com  ($72.95); Slinky Toy available from Amazon.com  ($2.99). [phpbay]silver sandals, 2[/phpbay] … [Read more...]

Little Leopard Paws

Is this little leopard print cute or what? I'd love to buy these for a co-worker's little girl, but it appears I'd be spoiling her, or worse yet, getting her started on wanting shoes (that's not all bad is it?).   Anyway you can fine this little maryjane Sorbet style  from Nina  at Shoebuy.com.  The adjustable strap makes it easy to get on and off.     [phpbay]nina shoes, 2[/phpbay] … [Read more...]

Go Blue. Go White. Go Team. Go Fight.

I bought these Adidas Viper Cushion running shoes from Famous Footwear  to use for track practices.   I am attending Dakota Wesleyan University, and our team colors are blue and white.   We are also sponsored by Adidas, so these shoes  seemed to be  a great fit.   They are cool,  light weight and have dual cushioning in the heel area for more comfort, too.       [phpbay]adidas shoes, 2[/phpbay] … [Read more...]

Summer to Fall, Sandals to Boots

Is it just me, or does anyone else have a hard time trying   to figure out what to wear between  sandals and boot season?   Spring / Summer= Sleeveless tops, capris  and sandals. Fall / Winter = Turtlenecks,  jeans and boots. Today is a perfect example as  it's 70ish degrees, yet it's September. I am going to consider this Kin Ship  style from Aerosoles as my in-between shoe. The peep toe and rope wedge lean to warmer weather yet the soft leather, antique hardware and lined suede give it … [Read more...]
