Slippers or Not?

One of my closest friends will be having surgery this week, and I thought I’d buy new pajamas and slippers for her. The pajama part was easy; I found some at Target. The slipper side of the gift did not go as well. I went on-line to Zappos and when doing a search for “slippers”, it came up with this cute flat from DKNY. I’m not so sure if falls within the slipper catagory. You have to admit it’s built-in wedge would give you comfort and support, but would you classify it a slipper?
