Most people do not realize that my twin daughters are actually twins as they are fraternal, so not identical.  Plus they have complete opposite personalities and style, especially when it comes to hairstyles and clothing.  This past weekend, while on vacation, we shopped at the Oulets at Silverthorne.  The adidas store was having a sale of buy one pair of shoes, get one half off. So the girls picked some shoes out for school.  The twins looked identical as babies, except Macy’s feet were always bigger!  And I dressed them alike, but had to buy shoes in different sizes.  Now, they will not get them mixed up!

Johnny is the son of one of my best friends. He will be a senior this following school year. He loves to buy funky shoes, and this Timberland Cruise Master (currently sold out) has Johnny written all over it.

The best part of it is that he’s a good kid, with great grades and very athletic. He can get away with wearing these plaid designs with black socks.

Ahhhh~good ol’ spectators! I bought these beauties off eBay and I cannot wait to wear them out. They are classic, yet sexy! These spectators are by far the cutest shoes I have seen in awhile. They are sitting in my closet right now just waiting for the perfect time to be worn, I sometimes take them out & try them on for fun…even if it is in my pajamas! ~ Shannon, MO

A person can learn a lot of new terms and definitions when surfing the net. While on Shoebuy.com today, I found sandals with the keyword “Toe Thong”. Huh? That is a new one to me. These western flare Aerosoles Tress Release toe thong sandals have a trendy tooled printed leather. And as always the extra cushioned suede footbed makes them comfortable, even if they do say “thong”.

You’ve seen my shoe cubes in my closet, but since they are all full (and overflowing onto the floor now), I was searching for some more shoe storage ideas.  I didn’t realize there were so many options out there!  Everything from cubbies to chests to underbed organizers to racks to towers to cabinets to trolleys to carousels… (click on any pic below to see more options)

The ad for these New Balance Second Skin Racer Lo-Cut socks says they are so comfortable, that it makes you feel like you’re running barefoot. While I do believe in buying good socks, I’m thinking I could buy a pair of good running shoes and several pairs of socks for the price of these.  It also says the Arch support provides gentle compression lifts to support the arch and relieve arch-related pain discomfort. Possibly these are so good one would not even need shoes. I guess I’m too cheap thrifty to pay $75.95 socks.  But if you want to, they are available from Zappos.com.

This past weekend we were in a Member Guest Golf tournament, and my guest had a on some really cute shoes. When I asked about them, she told me she got them on a trip when she was in Arizona. So today as I’m on looking ColeHaan.com, I see that Nebraska is not even listed. What’s up with that, do they think we don’t wear shoes in this state? Anyway, she was telling me how comfortable the shock absorbing Nike Air sole was. Good thing I can order these Cole Haan Air Brylee Stud Thongs online from Zappos.com!

I’ve reiterated the fact over and over how I don’t like flip-flops because I can’t stand the feeling of something between my toes.  But I just found some of these Hue: Thong Wrapz that may be worthy of my time to try.
